Rockstar Unveils Eye-Watering $400 GTA 6 Collector’s Box: It Has 11 Items, but No Game

Rockstar Games has revealed a $400 (£349.99) collector's box for the upcoming title, but the expensive merchandise package does not include a copy of the game, which must be purchased separately.

Rockstar Games has introduced the Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection, a $399.99 (£349.99) limited-edition Collector's Box.

The $400 Box Has No Game

While the pricey box does not include GTA 6, it comes packed with 11 items styled after the virtual crime haven, including Oakley sunglasses, an alligator figurine, a cap, pins, stickers and various other accessories. Shoppers can pre-order the collection through the Rockstar Games Store, with the box arriving on 19 November.

Rockstar's official listing confirms that Grand Theft Auto VI is sold separately from the Collector's Box.

A Map Comes at a Price

Historically, Rockstar has included physical maps with some of its major open-world releases, though it is currently unclear whether physical copies of 'GTA 6' will also include a map.

The Collector's Box does contain a double-sided souvenir poster with a full map of Leonida, but Rockstar has not said that buyers will need to purchase the $400 collection to obtain a map.

The box is being sold as a limited-edition collectible, with Rockstar making it available while supplies last. The collection includes branded products from companies such as Oakley and New Era, alongside GTA 6-themed accessories and collectibles.

GTA 6 Merchandise Keeps Growing

Fans first spotted the Collector's Box on GTAForums thanks to a user named Word, who uncovered the official title of 'Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection' alongside a reported weight of 10 kilograms.

According to the same GTAForums source, Rockstar is also preparing additional clothing featuring Vice City branding, studio emblems and fictional in-universe corporate logos. Rockstar itself has confirmed that more apparel and collectibles from the GTA 6 collection are coming to its store, although it has not publicly detailed the full clothing range in its announcement.

GTA 6-branded promotional merchandise has also begun appearing at gaming events and on resale platforms, while a branded PlayStation 5 controller has been reported for sale. Rockstar has separately announced an official soundtrack album for the game. The limited-edition vinyl version, priced at $125, has also sold out in multiple markets, according to reports.
