As the royal family prepared to send the kids to a different campus this month, the Duchess was added to a parent chat on WhatsApp. The Sun newspaper published what looks like a screenshot from the conversation, displaying the royal parent receiving greetings upon entry.
'Welcome to Meghan who has Archie joining tomo,' one parent wrote, while another sent a message saying 'welcome.' A reply from Meghan read: 'Hi moms! Thanks for the warm welcome. So happy to be a part of this community xx.'
Meghan's Number Shared Online
Someone in the group captured a screenshot of the exchange, after which the chat log and Markle's phone number were shared repeatedly online.

It remains uncertain which participant in the thread exposed Meghan's contact details, or whether the duchess intends to participate in the parents' communication circle again.
School Move Follows Security Concerns
On Monday, 14 September, a spokesperson informed USA TODAY that the couple pulled their kids from the initial academy after only two days. This choice stemmed from 'a conversation' with protection experts 'about the logistics of their daily routine.'
Heavy local congestion made it difficult for the family's security convoy to stay together during school pickups and drop-offs, Hello! Magazine noted, pointing to sources familiar with the family.
Congestion surrounding the school put pressure on the couple's small security team. 'The decision for the children to move school was taken following a discussion with the family's security team about the practicalities of their current arrangements,' a representative for the couple said.
Security Checks Took Place Before Term
Security checks had been completed before the term started, though the family had been unable to properly assess the school run beforehand, an insider explained. 'It's a real shame, because they absolutely adored the school, the kids and their parents,' the source said.
'The parents remain extremely grateful to all the teachers and staff for the love, care and effort they have shown their family,' the Sussex representative said. 'This decision should in no way be interpreted as a reflection on the school or the exceptional care the children have received there.'
The Sussexes' Return to the UK
This latest educational hurdle comes shortly after Harry and Meghan relocated from their California residence to the UK, around six years after stepping back from frontline royal duties. The family recently returned to Britain after spending about six years in California.
Though the exact address of the family's new residence remains private, reports have suggested that they are living in the Cotswolds, a rural region in south-west England around two hours from London.
Not long after the pair came back, a letter issued on behalf of King Charles reiterated that Harry and Meghan remain non-working royals and private citizens. The document stressed that they will not perform any official royal duties for the Crown.
